BOLD CHILD CO.
occupational therapy. physical therapy. feeding therapy. developmental resources.
Bold Child Co. is a pediatric occupational and physical therapy partnership based in Jacksonville, Florida. With over 20 years of combined experience, Amanda Vargas, MOT, OTR/L, SCFES, CBS, and Kate DeValerio, PT, DPT, PCS, founded Bold Child Co. to focus on development for children aged birth through elementary. Areas of treatment include fine and gross motor development, head shaping and torticollis, tongue tie assessment and follow up, developmental resources to empower both parent and child, and comprehensive feeding therapy. We offer virtual, mobile and in-clinic appointments to meet the needs of every family.
OCCUPATIONAL AND PHYSICAL THERAPY
Build confidence in gross and fine motor skills, self care skills, handwritting and balance through fun and engaging play based therapy.
COMPREHENSIVE FEEDING THERAPY
Learn why your child is having feeding difficulties and how to turn feeding into a positive experience for the whole family. Services include: lactation consultation, bottle feeding, transition to solids, tongue/lip tie care and picky eating.
TORTICOLLIS AND PLAGIOCEPHALY MANAGEMENT
Torticollis and head misshaping (known medically as plagiocephaly or brachycephaly) are common, and very treatable, orthopedic concerns for infants. These concerns can come in isolation or together. An early start is best and infants can be evaluated as young as three days old. Bold Child Co. takes these conditions throughout childhood.
Ever wonder what your baby should be doing at a certain age and how you can help them achieve their next milestones? Bold Beginnings is for you! We offer developmental resources, expert guided toy selection, and have developed healthy child activity programs (COMING SOON!) for children from birth-24 months to build confident kids and parents.
