Meet The Team

Amanda has been a licensed occupational therapist since 2011 and cofounded Bold Child Co. with Kate.  She has a passion for treating feeding disorders from breast/bottle to table food, developmental disorders, executive function concerns, and fine motor skills.  She and her husband reside in Jacksonville and are raising three children, a daughter and two sons.

Kate has been a licensed physical therapist since 2010 and co-founded Bold Child Co. with Amanda.  She has a passion for treating torticollis and flat head syndrome (plagiocephaly), developmental disorders, and neurological conditions.  She and her husband reside in Jacksonville and are raising two children, a son and a daughter (a NICU graduate!).

Jenn has been with Bold Child Co since 2025.  Jenn and her husband share four children including twin boys and two daughters.

Jen has been with Bold Child Co. since 2025.  Jen and her husband reside in Jacksonville and are raising a boy/girl twin set.

Heather holds a Masters in Reading Education (K-12) and joined Bold Child Co. in 2025. Heather is passionate about literacy and math instruction and committed to supporting young learners in reaching their full potential.  Heather and her husband reside in Jacksonville and are raising a daughter.

Danielle is a licensed occupational therapist and has been with Bold Child Co. since 2023.  Danielle has a passion for feeding therapy, fine motor skills, sensory integration, and school-based therapy services.  She and her husband reside in Jacksonville and are raising a son.

Karli is a licensed PT and has been with Bold Child Co. since 2026. She is passionate about early intervention, torticollis, the Down Syndrome population across the lifespan, and medically complex conditions. She strives for a play-based and caregiver-empowered approach to help her patients reach their full potential. She enjoys spending time with her husband in Atlantic Beach.

Kayla is a licensed SLP and has been with Bold Child Co. since 2024.  Kayla has a passion for articulation, language, fluency, and autism spectrum disorders.  She and her husband reside in Jacksonville Beach.

Nerissa is a licensed and AHSA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist who holds a Master of Science in Communication Science and Disorders from Florida State University. She specializes in pediatrics and has experience across a wide age range, from early intervention through middle school. Her passions are in articulation, phonological patterns, expressive and receptive language, selective mutism, autism spectrum disorder, and fluency. When she’s not in the clinic, she’s running the streets of her neighborhood. She lives in Jacksonville with her husband and two children.
